Clashes of Paper and Steel: The Duel in Post-Unification Italy through History and Literature

Virtual Exhibition. An exploration of the practice of dueling in Italy during the post-Unification decades, examining its historical dimensions alongside its literary and iconographic representations. This exhibition was developed as part of the research project "Scontri di carta e di spada" (Clashes of Paper and Steel), in collaboration with the Humanities Library of the University of Florence (supported by the University of Florence 2016 RTD Competitive Research Grants).
