Lexical Notes

This section contains in-depth thematic profiles, which can also be accessed via individual Glossary entries.

I addition to the specially commissioned profiles, the collection also includes previously published articles. For these profiles, a simple and direct reading style was prioritized, with texts free of footnotes or bibliographical references.

Particular attention was given to reusing passages already cited in the glossary entries, expanding upon them to highlight connections and developmental trends, and to clarify any issues that might arise from reading the individual lexicographical entries.
